I tried and tried to finish this book, but the unbelievable plot elements just kept coming. I lost all interest.

Starts off strong, but then it spirals into some d*ck-centric "husband oh my husband my hot smart husband" boredom. The "big twist" doesn't really twist much, mostly because the very beginning of the book already screams what's coming. It feels like the story is running purely on vibes and one semi-cool idea, not so much on plot or character development. To each their own, of course, but I wouldn’t rush to shove this one into anyone’s book-starved hands.

It started out slow and was fairly predictable. I liked the story line though.
Predictable plot twist aside, great book and amazing narration.
Was good but not my favorite. A good beach read.
this started out so good. SO GOOD!!!!! but it just completely lost me at the end. there was so much at stake and yet these characters who did stupid thing after stupid thing so easily resolved their problems page after page. there was no tension, there was no risk.
what was the deal with her traumatic diving accident when she was young? what was the deal with her documentary? why did the story end with a focus on holly? that was weird. the stand off between mark and the perpetrator and erin was sooooo uninteresting like what baby ????
3 stars because i thoroughly enjoyed the first 75% and catherine steadman did a fantastic job of narrating the audiobook
