The main character/narrator was making ridiculously stupid decisions, I just couldn’t suspend disbelief anymore (and I’m usually really good at it). Life’s too short!

I felt like this story took foreeeeever to get going. Maybe because I was listening to the audiobook? I was more interested once things started rolling, but even then, it felt like the story was dragging until the very end. I wish there had been more answers- I was thinking there would be some kind of explanation for who was behind the bag Mark and Erin found, and what was encrypted on that USB, but we got nothing. So I was bummed about that.

Also, this is the five millionth mystery/thriller involving a couple I've read where the guy is the villain. I saw that coming from a mile away because it's SO overdone!
