I really like the writing but I had a hard time with some of the plot points. The rain really keeps you engaged and interested in learning more. Definitely a page turner.

Amazing book, first chapter gets you hooked wanting to know who the person is, even though you kind of know anyway. So many twists and turns to keep you reading and I loved the different story lines.
I just wish there was a bit more of a back story for each character.. and towards the end I wanted to know why Mark did what he did.. more of an insight into this would have been great.
A part from that, I highly recommend this book.

A little too dragged out for me while listening to it via audiobook. Felt like everything was moving so slowly until the last 5-10 chapters. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I’d read a physical book since it would have allowed me to skim the slower sections.
Interesting plot overall and I found the twist towards the end a bit confusing with what we’re told through the rest of the book. It was a bit shocking (which I enjoy usually) but this particular twist didn’t really click for me in a way that explained what what was happening.

Yes this is a thriller. But it's also more heartbreaking than that. It's like when something happens that changes everything and you start to wonder what if... and then all you're left with is shock and trauma and grief about what used to be. This messed me up a little and I sort of want to read it again and see if I can put the pieces more together.
