Loved Wren and Alex, they are loveable characters. Sometimes I read about couples and while I may like them, I do not think they would actually last (yes, I am talking about fictional characters and their relationship lasting however, the good characters feel real). I absolutely believe in Alex and Wren and their beautiful relationship, they have the ability to Grow together. All the Feels exceeded my expectations (Olivia Dade's books are a must read for me), made me laugh and smile! My favorite part of the book was Wren's self reflection, I could really relate. Guessing I am not alone in this. Big Harpy Energy!!!
Loved the banter in this book, there was defintely chemistry between Alex and Lauren. I loved Alex, he's a golden retriever who loves attention. I liked that Lauren actually had a personality too, she wasn't completely overshadowed by Alex. Also can we get an AMEN for characters in their late 30s!
I think that miscommunication/not talking to each other trope is over played. They did good with simple miscommunications but Lauren leaving twice without communicating with Alex felt out of character. These were two mature adults and there were parts that we saw that but for the big climax scenes it was like that was forgotten about. Lastly what TF was up with the description of Lauren, I had to block that out because it was like they were describing a kids drawing; my younger brother used to draw people as a circle with stick legs and arms, we called them his potato people, that was how Lauren was described.

Honestly I loved this book even more than the first! Alex has ADHD, and I saw myself reflected multiple times. I would recommend re-reading Spoiler Alert though, because the first half or so of this book takes place during that book, so if you don’t remember much you could get kinda lost.
