I'm obsessed. This is the 2nd time I've listened to this book. All of course after reading it. So that's 3 times through this sucker and I still LOVE it. Joe Goldberg is my all time favorite character.

Great sequel to the first book. Wow Joe just keeps spiraling with his decisions! You hate him, but also root for him at times. It's twisted but so good!

Okay look… The thing about Caroline Kepnes is that she is actually a really good writer… Her style is simple without being trash and so unique without being pretentious, and some quotes you just want to take a highlighter to…
I read You in a day and it was epic, definitely a 3 star if not a 4… but this sequel just lacks direction…
With Beck, you kinda hated her and Benji and Peach and you kinda loved to hate them… and you knew the purpose and where it was heading. It was clean and wrapped up with a neat little bow.
But this book? All over the place and you don’t get the deep fucked up connection with the familiar backdrop of a NY bookstore… you get shallow romances with characters you can’t connect to or care about and a messy storyline. There’s no neat little bow.
All in all, I was disappointed, but not so much that I don’t have the third book on my bedside table right now.
