This is hard to review. Technically it was a good story. BUT. It was not YOU. It really didn't even have the same feel to it. The ending felt flat. There was too much extraneous story line that never went anywhere or wrapped anything up. 3.5 stars

This should've been left as a standalone.

Good.  Different from the tv series season 2.  Better.  Best line - No time is hard, if you think of it as a time to celebrate love.

It was just okay. I think that if I hadn’t seen Season 2 of the show, I would have enjoyed it more? I loved season 2, so I guess that may be why, because the book version wasn’t as good. But, in saying that? I still enjoyed myself. I just wasn’t much of a fan of the setting in LA, the whole Hollywood scene being thrown in with this kind of thriller seemed pretty cheesy, and oh GOD I did not like any of the characters in this. Love was so into herself, and really annoyed me most of the time (whereas I liked Love in season 2 of the series.)

However, Caroline’s writing is so good, fun, intense and witty, so this is really the reason I stuck with the story until the final page. I’m looking forward to the third instalment.

one of the most compulsively readable writing styles ever; I do think the show improved on the plot but it kept me on the edge of my seat
