It felt a little like it went everywhere and no where. I think having seen the show first made it difficult to immerse into the book.
Meet Joe. Joe is a stone-cold serial killer. You don't want to date Joe. At least, you don't want to piss off Joe. It could have deadly consequences. So, when Joe moves to Los Angeles to track down yet another scorned lover, it might surprise you that everything is coming up roses for Joe. Joe meets a mega-wealthy family and fits right in with this strange yet endearing group. He falls in love with a girl named "Love". Things couldn't be better for Joe. His life is really turning around.
But ... Joe's made some mistakes.
Absolutely chilling.

First Thing i wanna say is , i was willing to give this book two stars , but 'Without any spoiler' the ending cost the book one star .
i have read YOU a couple of months ago and i fell in love with it , it was a five out of five stars book , it was everything i wanted in a book , the creepiness , the stalking , the killing , the JOE !! ,and everything , so when Hidden Bodies came out i was so excited to read it , because i wanted more of what i liked in the first book , and unfortunately , i was really really disappointed .
This book was absolutely plot-less book (if that's even a word !) , it kept me wondering the whole book 'So where is this book going ?? what am i waiting for ?? why i'm i even reading this after the first 100 pages which were a complete mess ? ' and the answer was simple . I Needed to see the HIDDEN BODIES .
Now to the Spoilery Part !
first of all , WHEN I REACHED THE ENDING I WAS LIKE :

like seriously !! it's like the author couldn't decide what to do with Joe , she wanted to save him , but she couldn't say that 'They let him go' because any reasonable human will think that it's unrealistic , like come one he killed people and from what i see , it's obvious that they can't let Joe go just like that , even if they did , they could have discovered some new evidence any time in the future and arrested him again ! the ending people ! the ending is just too 'safe'.
second thing , could you tell me what kind of a woman would decide to stay with a KILLER just because she has his baby ! any sane woman would have gone to the police or just run or something , specially a woman like Love , she's been in two relationships before , she's not stupid or naive to just give everything up and stay with Joe after he admitted to her that he killed people including his ex girlfriend ! i mean come on .

overall , i think this book was a big mess , a big failure , 448 pages of nothing .
i hated it , and i'm gonna forget that has a equal named hidden bodies.yes YOU is my favorite stand alone ever.
Goodbye Joe Goldberg .
