I understand why all of the adaptations skip this but it’s a damn great children’s book! It’s been so long since I first read it + I’m so scared for the Greta Gerwig adaptation if she really is changing the timeframe because a surprising amount of this hinges on the knowledge of the world wars having happened

Absolutely beautiful narrative of Aslan/God creating the kingdom of Narnia. I listened to an audiobook version and the soundscape was so amazing and immersive.
