I was so excited to dive back into this world, but it was just meh. I'm still looking forward to the last book in the series, but this extra content was a let down for me.

Great little novella about Clara and Angela's summer in Italy; in preparation for Boundless.

it's official, i hate angela with a passion... even more than christian. no, seriously, christian is super nice and the best friend ever in comparison to angela. my gosh, what a crappy friend is this girl! ¬¬

I could have lived without this novella. Angela really irritated me. I am torn on whether or not she is evil or truly just immature/naive. Phen I have a feeling is going to be a big part of Book 3. Though I'm not sure if he's going to be naughty or not. Or maybe Angela is evil. I'm not sure. But much of her chapters were kind of irritating to read. Maybe I just really love Clara? Hmm. Onward to Boundless.

Short story of the summer before Stanford. Not necessary for [b:Boundless|13049981|Boundless (Unearthly, #3)|Cynthia Hand|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1342208984s/13049981.jpg|18214662].

“You’re a child pretending to sit at the grown-ups’ table”

OMG, I loved this. But Now I'm scared to read Boundless!!! This one is so ominous....ugh, the last line is so ominious :(

I loved this peek into their friendship and a chance to get to know Angela so much better. The chapters are pretty short and they bop pretty quickly between Clara and Angela both, but we spend a lot more time with Angela.

We learn more about her vision, about her summer love and about her family.

And we get to see Clara through Angela's eyes.

Supongo que vamos a ver a Phen en el siguiente libro, y dudo que este del lado bueno.

While a decent "scratch the itch" before reading the finale story, it is not necessary to read prior to reading Book #3 Boundless . And, while nice to get a glimpse into the summer before they head to Stanford, and as is typical with most novellas I read, I wanted more, more, MORE! Worthy read for fans of the series.
