This was so well-written and so satisfying. Kestrel and Arin are both so beautiful. This series was just beautiful! I have not read a series this good in a while.

I really enjoyed the first half of this book and the last part, but there was a part in the middle of the book were there was too much battles and war strategy and I was a bit bored. I still liked that part, but this would have been a 5 star book if it wasn't for that.

DNF at a little under 50%, and it was only that far because it was the only book I had on my iPad and I had no wifi to buy a different one.
I'm so disappointed; I was supposed to love this series. Everyone else in the world loved this series, why didn't I?! I know the writer is great and even the story is interesting, but the 'love story' was just... cringe worthy for me. I never liked Kestrel, and while I didn't dislike Arin, he never did anything to make me like him, either. It was too much back and forth 'I love you', 'wait no I'm disgusted with you', maybe even too much internal monologue from both of them, if that makes any sense at all. I feel like it was repetitive and both this book and book 2 could have been a lot shorter because the same thing kept happening over and over.
One of the last straws for me was, like how cliche can you be? I knew I had to stop reading and just put the series to bed when I looked down, saw '19 pages left in chapter', and genuinely felt like I wanted to cry because that was just so much to read.

Love this series! I am so sad to see the end. Kestrel is one of my favorite protagonists. The love between Arin and Kestrel is so real and genuine. I am so glad there was no silly triangle.

Третя частина трилогії для мене була так само захоплива як і перші дві.
Мені не хотілося прощатися з героями та історією, але я отримала велике задоволення від прочитання всіх трьох книг.
В цій частині ми отримаємо багато скла. Ув'язнення Кестрель, втрата її пам'яті, багато битв, поранень. Але також не менше ніж в попередніх частинах стратегій та шляху до перемоги над імператором.
Описи битв були детальні, я прям занурювалась в них і ніби була на полі бою разом з героями.
Мені сподобалось, як головні герої почали відкриватися один одному (нарешті!). Крок за кроком відкривали себе та свої почуття без брехні та маніпуляцій.
Дружба Рошара і Аріна просто сонячний промінчик в темряві. Вони як справжні брати, чудовий тандем представників двох народів.
Прекрасна трилогія, цікаві персонажі, захопливий сюжет з неочікуваними поворотами, чудово прописана любовна лінія - все це подарує різний спектр емоцій.
Слово мені дуже сподобалось, рекомендую до прочитання.
