What a twisted family story, definitely not what I expected! But quite awesome, makes a great read!
3.5 ⭐️
It's only when you come outside and realise life is moving on, that you just have to go with the flow.

A slow start, but fast paced towards the end. This book has all the elements to make it amazing: suspense, sensation, love, magic. But unfortunately... every aspect is not worked out perfectly. The magical book of which it is not clear where it comes from. The plot with Marcus that has an abrupt end. Weseley who suddenly appears out of nowhere. I did the story no good, unfortunately.
A great added value was the explanation of Rosaleen at the end. Her story. Her feelings. It created a kind of 'understanding' for the situation she was in and how she has developed.
When you close your eyes you can be just anywhere you want to be.

I enjoyed this book about a girl trying to come to grips with her father's death. She ends up living with her very different aunt and uncle and her comatose mother. She finds a diary that shows her what her tomorrow is going to be, and this leads to some interesting discoveries.
Well...this book was okay. I really loved Cecelia Ahern's books PS I Love You and Postscript, so I was excited to try another one of her novels. This story centers around seventeen year old Tamara Goodwin, an out of control, spoiled teen, who finds her whole world turned upside down when her father commits suicide. Tamara and her mother move in with her uncle who lives in the gatehouse of an old castle in Ireland. Tamara discovers a book that when opened tells her what is going to happen tomorrow. At first she doesn't believe it, but soon finds out no matter what she does the events in the book come true. Tamara begins to unravel a family secret that has been hidden for years, a secret that will change her life or end it.
On the surface this book sounds fabulous, but the character of Tamara was all over the place. At times I found the events of the story confusing. That may have been how the author wrote it so that we feel the confusion that Tamara is feeling, but it felt just too random. I will say the end of the book is fabulous. I wish the story that goes with the family secret had been told right along with the rest of the story. This book would have been better if it would have been told from Tamara perspective in the present and her mother's perspective in the past. Well, like I said it was okay and had a strong ending.

This was cute and the end was actual a good little mystery I wasn't expecting.

Such a great book. I loved PS, I Love You and really liked Rosie Dune, but wasn't able to get into one or a couple of the author's other books, so I wasn't sure if I'd like this one. I was hooked from the get-go and could not stop reading. Loved it.

A quick, easy read. I hesitate to use the word "cute" but there doesn't seem to be a more adequate word. There are bits and pieces of this book that really resonate: reminders to appreciate what you have, acknowledge the past, and live in the present.
The idea of a book holding the truths to tomorrow seems incredibly thought provoking. Would you want to know what the next day holds? Would you still do so if there were nothing you could do to change the course of events? Interesting topic of discussion.
