Great Alex Cross adventure!

I don't really have much of anything to say about this one. I don't keep up with Alex Cross, I just read the books whenever I get the chance in whatever order that I happen to get them. James Patterson's books are great for when you're struggling with your reading, either because of a reading slump or something else. The chapters of his books are so short, you can read, like, 20 or 30 chapters in an hour, depending on your reading speed. It's mindless fun. I enjoyed this one. Got me tearing up in the end for young Willow, John's daughter. Idk, if you're looking for something quick to pass the time, this is a good one to do it with.

Book 28 of the Alex Cross series. I wasn’t really impressed with this one. There are major events taking place in this story, but it was still boring.

I did enjoy seeing Ned Mahoney and Alex actually work a case together hands on.

My first James Patterson book. It will also be my last.

Book 188: Deadly Cross by James Patterson
Well if you know me, you know that I love my Alex Cross series and Women's Murder Club by James Patterson. I think this is the 4th James Patterson book this year.

Alex Cross series #28, Deadly Cross, is a good addition to the series. Along with his wife, Bree, his best friend, John Sampson, and his trusty FBI partner, Ned Mahoney, Alex works three different crimes in this book. Alex is back with his usual smarts and bravado, and must solve the murder of his friend Kay, the ex-wife of the Vice President of The United States. In addition, rich people are getting shot in the butt around D.C. , and everyone is on heightened alert as girls are being snatched and later found dead.

My guilty pleasure did not disappoint, as the book sped along in usual Patterson fashion, with its short chapters and edge of seat crime drama. Not sure, but I think this is one of the better books in a while. My rating 4.5 ⭐️.

Solid entry in the “Alex Cross” series. Lots of twists and turns and incredibly exciting.
