I love Summer's way of writing Rom Com's. They pull you into the character and make you laugh without being over-the-top. Which I know realize is a funny way to phrase that, since Haley definitely went a bit over the top here hahaha. But I still stand by it--I love Summer's humor and characters! She does a great job of dropping you in her characters' heads immediately and making you fall in love with them while also wanting to be their best friends.
The plot of "sabotaging" Austin's business was really fun, but I lived for those moments of realness between him and Haley. They were SO cute! Their relationship felt authentic and I was rooting for them to just get past all the lies between them while also biting my nails wondering HOW they were going to get past the lies between them!
The ending was fantastic--with a great dark moment that ended in a perfect HEA. But even better was the epilogue. It was adorable and ended the book on the perfect note. I did wish a little bit that Haley had come clean to Austin's boss, just to really show she was sorry, but I didn't see how that could work. And somehow by the time I finished the book, Summer had tied everything up so perfectly that I didn't actually care about that little detail anymore. I think she settled it wonderfully. I can't wait to see these characters again in the next Wedding Business book!

Cute romcom. I liked the characters, the immature behavior from both of them became a little cringey at times but overall this was a fun read.

I really enjoyed this one! After being fairly bored by the first book in the series, this one had tons of laugh out loud moments and great chemistry between Haley and Austin.

I really enjoyed this. It didn't go down the path I thought it was going to but I was pleasantly surprised. It was great!
I was so torn for Haley like yes you should be mad but I also want you to fall in love lmao
Definitely need to read more of Summer's books :)

I really enjoyed the second book in this trilogy ans clicked even more with our main girly.
I also really appreciated the characters’ romantic arc and how multi-dimensional each of them were.
However, my absolute favourite part was how strongly female friendship was portrayed.
I really hope I become part of a friend-group as tight and as lovely as Hayley’s.
Can’t wait for Dowell’s new book from the series in February!

Well. I’m officially a Summer Dowell fan. I want to read all her books! If you love to laugh, swoon, and crave powdered donuts, this book is for you. I binge-read this book because I just couldn’t walk away. The main character had me laughing out loud like a weirdo and occasionally cringing at her mishaps. This enemies-to-lovers story wasn’t like any other I had read before and I loved that. I seriously recommend buying this book.

This was a nice, light, fluffy read. I liked the fast pace and am legitimately considering a future career in floral design. I want to work with flowers all day like Haley.
Haley had me laughing often with how much junk food she eats. Wow I wish I could eat like her all the time. She’s a quirky character with a lot of charm. I loved her style and charm. Austin was a good love interest. He seemed to be a good match for Haley. I liked a lot of their banter, but had a hard time with some of their meet-ups. They didn’t seem organic. Some of the places they went seemed to be forcing an idea rather than letting things happen naturally.
This was an enemies to lovers book, but really light on the enemies. There wasn’t a huge amount of animosity over the workplace situation. I was hoping for a bit more angst, yet I guess that this could also be a plus. It’s a light-hearted read which also can hit really well at the right time. I wish some of the sabotaging didn’t continue on so long. Gratefully the ending seemed to satisfy that resolution with how both characters felt about what happened.
I thought this was sweet and definitely a pick-me-up type of read. And what I always love about this author’s books are the epilogues. Totally cheesy and I’m not even sorry about how much I love them.
Overall audience notes:
- Contemporary romance
- Language: none
- Romance: kisses

haley has finally found her perfect spot for her flower shop. it’s close to the beach, a hot tourist spot, and it has great traffic flow. however, someone (a very handsome someone) gets the place before her… with not very ethical ways. instead of moving on and looking for a new place for her business, haley decides to seek for revenge with some help… even though getting to know austin is messing with her plans.
this book was a nice, fast read. i loved austin very much! he’s the sweetest. i don’t agree with some things he did (same goes to haley), but i think he’s adorable and i really liked his moments volunteering and with haley. the friendship between haley, hope and avery was amazing and i relate to haley because i’m also a mess and some friends would pay me just to put my things in order. i can’t blame them but i find things in my mess! hahaha.
if you’re into enemies to lovers with tons of rivalry, this is your book!
