This book checks every box, even ones you didn’t know were on the list! Lena is an incredible bonus in Give Me Butterflies (if you haven’t read it, what are you doing with your life?!) and getting more of her story, sass, and spice is simply magic. Lena is feisty, the best hype girl, outspoken, spicy, sentimental… amazing! Gavin is her brother’s best friend, loves her family, and the one she’s had on a pedestal for years. The two have undeniable chemistry that has grown over time, so when presented with a chance to get it out of their systems it’s intense. If you’re looking for tropes, Jillian Meadows once again delivers! Age gap, he falls first, mutual pining, forced proximity, brother’s best friend, found family, “it’s always been you.” Plus, he bakes, has tattoos (the one on his ribs tugged my heartstrings!), hot tubs, and some seriously sexy moments.
This is a beautiful Christmas story that is packed with good moments, family traditions, peppermint mochas, and small town charm. It made me cry, laugh, and broke my heart in all the best ways (the epilogue

Super quick, predictable read. Cute good break between a darker series

This was my very first book by Jillian Meadows, and it will NOT be my last, the way that she made these two characters come to life, was beautiful.
Wreck My Plans kinda fell in-between different tropes.
It was kinda a second chance romance, but not really since they were never “together”. It was also kind of “friends to lovers” but not really because MMC was more of her brother’s friend that the FMS's family kind of adopted.
All of these “in-between tropes absolutely worked! It helped to keep the love story going without any of the angst. Don’t get me wrong there was tons of longing 🤭
❤️ Age Gap (10 years)
💚 Brothers Best Friend
❤️ Only One Bed
💚 Found Family
I was not only in love with the story but the epilogue(s) were perfection!
Yes this is a Christmas vibe read, but it is the sweetest yet totally spicy read.

Wreck My Plans is the second novel by Jillian Meadows. It follow Lena Santos, who we met in her debut novel, Give Me Butterflies as Millie’s best friend, and Gavin Moore. This is in the same universe as GMB but is not a sequel or part of the Oaks Sisters series.
GAVIN. F*CKING.MOORE. That’s it. That’s the review.
No, I’m kidding. But you guys, all I can say is OH MY GAWD. This book. This man. This woman. I could not put it down. Wreck My Plans has WRECKED ME. I cannot choose, Gavin vs Finn. I will have both on toast, please and thank you.
When Lena goes home for Christmas, only to run into Gavin who she hasn’t seen for years because of *reasons,* she is unhappy to say the least. What starts off as a frosty welcome heats up quickly. The cabin. THE HOT TUB
