This one fell a little flat for me. Might be a me thing. I don’t usually read holiday books once the holidays are over. It was cute but didn’t wow me.
Full of spice, plot and emotions
Definitely was not expecting this read to take me through so many emotions. Some Novellas i find are hard to really capture a good plot, good spicy scenes and deliver the heart wrenching moment but this did it perfectly for me! Loved loved loved!

4.5 (rounding up to 5) ⭐️✨
- Brother’s best friend
- Found family
- Age gap (10 years)
- Tension & mutual pining
- It’s always been you
- A MMC who remembers your coffee order, bakes cinnamon rolls, washes your hair, and holds babies shirtless
A combination of sweet, spicy, and cozy. Wreck My Plans is the perfect holiday romance to add to your TBR, and one of my new favorites that I wouldn’t mind reading again this month. Jillian did such a wonderful job making this an equally fun and emotional story. One of ultimately finding your heart’s home. There’s yummy tension and also beautiful vulnerability between the main characters. I love Lena and Gavin so much and I know you will too!

The angst in this book felt a bit over the top and misplaced. Then 4 chapters in a row to describe one spicy scene felt very unnecessary
4.5 rounded up! Spicy and sweet, I laughed and cried. Lena and Gavin are perfect for each other and the mutual pining is addictive (just like peppermint mochas!). The character development was top tier and the ending warmed my heart in ways I didn't expect. And the hot tub scene was even better than advertised. I'm looking forward to Oaks Sisters #2 even more than I already was!

If you like a spicy Christmas story, this one has you covered. Brothers best friend, age gap (he’s about 10 years older), long pining and only one bed… this story has all the classics that lead to a good Christmas!
Graphic: Sexual content
Minor: Grief, Car accident, Pregnancy, Alcohol
I really love this one. It’s not long but it packed the romance and spice. Only complaint is that it wasn’t longer, I could’ve done with a bit more flashbacks to see them pining for each other over the years every Christmas. Otherwise I loved every second of this one.
You get: found family, Christmas, age gap, best friends sister and plenty of spice!

I loved this book. So feel good with the perfect mix of spice. Perfect for getting in the Christmas mood and I definitely want to grab other books from this author.
