I’m only taking half a star off for how ridiculous the ending is. It was a quick, easy read with characters I’m already familiar with, which helped.

This one was shorter than the first two novels, and I think it hampered the story's success. I didn't feel that the author had the space to properly develop the characters or to create a compelling mystery. It's still a fun series, and I hope there will be a 4th book.

The weakest book in the series so far, but still an incredible addition to the series. I loved the exploration of a christmas special and what that means for a detective in a mystery series. It was also nice to see more characters from the first book make an appearance.
