I felt like I was on some psychadelic trip while reading this. So much weirdness, man. So many colours, so many dogs ... on skis, up trees, in hats, not chasing cats? By the way, I don't like dogs. ;)
When I was a young reader, I particularly enjoyed books about dogs. Go, Dog. Go! was very high on my list of favourites.
Had to re-read an old classic in honor of their current show at the Seattle Children's Theater (and to keep up my book count to one per day...)
Lots of opportunities for teaching little ones prepositions, colors and counting skills. I did whine to the roomie that the plot is very slow moving as it didn't really get going until page 53.
Very enjoyable trip down memory lane.

You don't get the fun of saying the words in rhyme!!! (my secret enjoyment when reading other doctor seuss like books to young children) There was not even a good story! :-(
Neo literally sped through this book, leaving no word unpronounced or page unturned. Dogs are all over zooming around town in cars, sometimes obeying traffic laws, but also hard-pressed to listen. They congregate together in parks and on the outskirts of town, reds with blacks, greens, and blues. There is no rhyme or reason, but there sure are dogs. Neo loved this one, even after he told me that he’s read this book at school many times, so he knew all the words. Still, it was a fast-paced story for us both to enjoy!
First book I ever read by myself, so of course I have to read it to my daughter.
The first book I remember proudly reading to someone else.
