Fourth book in my quest to read all of Austen’s novels (though this is an epistolary novella). Austen is so fucking funny. I’m sorry Jane, I wasn’t familiar with your game. So far, after each of my read, I’ve had one character that stands out to me as someone I’d like to read more of/their story. Charlotte in P&P (SAVE HER!) or Miss Tilney in NA (that love story???) but after being down with S&S, I wasn’t too sure and settled on Eliza and her baby (JUSTICE FOR ELIZA) but a friend told me she’d read a book about Lucy Steele as well and by god she’s right. We ended up saying how great it would be to read about her navigation London society after the death of her husband and LO AND BEHOLD that’s basically what Lady Susan is. Lady Susan, you’re a bitch but I love you. No only that, but all the female characters were kinda fun in this, especially Mrs. Vernon who clocked Lady Susan from the get go. It was simply too short though, and it felt like Jane got bored and summarized the ending and called it a day. But I highly recommend it all the same. I need to watch the Kate Beckinsale movie based on this.

Lady Susan fue definitivamente una grata sorpresa, me divertí y me enojé con los personajes en partes iguales
