While the art was borderline cute and messy, the story was interesting. I liked the progression of how Marjorie is connected with the ghost and how their lives become intertwined. Actually, I feel this graphic novel would be better if it was all about the ghost world. I did feel for Marjorie's plight, but it is nothing very new in literature and follows many clichés. My biggest issue is the lack of satisfying resolution about Marjorie's father's behavior, and I wanted the whole family to seek counseling together. Overall, it's an okay read for tweens.

Kind of a dark story, but also a sweet story about loss and friendship. It shows people trying to take advantage of kids who are in a bad situation but also people trying to help those same kids. I enjoyed it and the artwork fit the story perfectly and it was cute despite sometimes being darker topic.i enjoyed Wendell and how we did eventually get his backstory and how he trusted Marjorie enough to tell it to her.
I’d recommend this graphic novel to everyone.
