It’s complicated. Her first was so clever. This lacked something and I’m not sure what but it just didn’t land.

I absolutely adore the way Hallett gives us bits and pieces of the puzzle and truly allows her readers to ruminate on those clues without stoping the narrative from moving forward. Each email and message peels back a layer of the mystery that keeps you hooked and turning the pages.

What a fun read! It’s my 1st time reading a book that is only composed of dms and mails, but it works! Not only it works it also shows the personality of each and every character. I don’t think it’s my last book from Janice Hallett :)
