Ok. So. The review of this are totally valid. I can't disagree with the fact that Eisley (side note: I LOVE this name. So pretty.) is so one dimensional and there are quite a few things that don't add up. The writing isn't perfect...sure...but is that what we came for? Let's be honest with ourselves people. If you read the description, you knew what you were coming for (

a WILD ride that I cannot decide if I enjoyed or not. I felt like it accomplished what the author set out to accomplish - a sexy horror spoof/parody. It captured the ridiculous nature that she set out to write.
Overall I loved the spooky/horror vibes that this book brought. Absolutely perfect for an October read. The cult plot in this was super interesting, and I loved the back and forth from present to past time. Constantine and Kansas were so great, would’ve loved to see more of the MM in this MMF book, but the spice still delivered! I wish Eisley would’ve had a little more development - why after finding out what her “friends” were like did she continue as she was beforehand?
The new age slang did kind of bother me, but it made the annoying characters more annoying so I guess it also kind of fit - it just didn’t fully match the theme of the book itself.
