This book was so good! I loved everything about this book. The "Jason" meets "Scream" vibes is what makes me enjoy this book so much. Another favorite I enjoyed was "The Rules" for each chapter as well. The more I read the more I just couldn't put this one down. If you like dark romance that includes horror then this book will fit the aesthetic.

I anticipated the release of this book for so long and it absolutely did not disappoint!!!
Everything about this book reminded me of a classic slasher. Eisley is doing her best to live a normal life after escaping the Sinister Minister's cult a decade ago. Though she and Constantine were able to escape, Kansas was left behind and that will haunt her forever. She will never forgive herself for his death. But did he really die?

Slash or Pass was a wild ride!! At first, I was in love with Constantine and then I was in love with Kansas, and I ended up loving them both so much, despite their very dark grey morality. I loved that Eisley embraced her whole persona and did what she wanted, despite the judgment of others. I love a dual/multi-POV because I am able to see the situation from all sides. Seeing what the boys went through and their evolution from their perspective really dropped me into the story. The occult aspects were my favorite part of the story. The Sinister Minister and the Reanimator creeped me out in a way that I read with the lights on. A definite must-read if you love horror and slasher films and books.

I have so many mixed emotions on this book, at times I was like yeah masked men, slasher decent sex scenes but then I was like nope I'm not fond of this, way too many sex scenes, you can't do that to her when she's completely out of it high on drugs!! Felt like the plot of the book was how many times the 2 MMC's can have sex with her and fuck with her mind - which they completely did! I finished it but was not satisfied with it at all!

This book was wild. I mean, fully as advertised but… 🫣 SPOILERS…

I’m not mad that they end up happy and together at the end, not gonna lie. For a slasher inspired book though, the breakaway from the cult as kids was such a letdown. They literally just walked out? Did I miss something? Didn’t even bang someone on the head with a baseball bat to create an opening, they just ran out the door and there was seemingly no good reason why Constantine couldn’t have run with them.
