Unbelievably fucked up in the best type of way. Horror + knives + blood + sex + some slasher-movie-corniness that you just have to be okay with = this book.

Disclaimer: This is my first time ever reading for pleasure (not for school) so I don’t have a whole lot (literally anything) to compare this book to, so 5 stars!

I just finished this audio for the third time. I’ve been in such a slump but this book has hooked me and it’s all I want to read. The banter just has me absolutely in love. This one’s for the spooky lovers who love the crazy with a dash of lovable psychopaths.

I went into this expecting 90s slasher horror, but then it jumped into cult escape and survival. I feel like there is so much that was missed out on, verses so much that was involved too much. It gave more “I know what you did last summer” than ghost face to me, with all of the friends dying one by one….idk. Wasn’t my favorite book of the month but it wasn’t horrible. The FMC was not much of a final girl, and she got maybe 2 seconds of a badass final girl moment with the Assassins tea pot.
