Delight of a summer romp! Not quite is good as the first, but I loved it. The witty irreverence is so much fun and the characters as endearing as ever.

I was nervous going into a sequel (as we often are with sequels) but why? Why was I? This book was so, so amazing and I found myself weeping happy tears finishing this book on an international flight (yes, I planned it that way to be reading this while traveling abroad). The whole family dynamic that Rowley has given us is one I could, and hope, to continue reading about for books to come - I'm absolutely in love with everything about it. This series is just, for lack of a better description, just so damn sweet and smart and cute. There's really nothing I don't love about it, even when teenagers are annoying teenagers, its honestly justified and so well-written that you end up saying "yeah...I get it." Never lose the spark that allows you to write these kind of books, Rowley. Truly.
