The beginning of the book felt like if Katee went along with making Desperate measure a marriage plot, but as I got to the middle of the book it felt like it's own.

I love Hook and Tink! I didn’t think it could get better than learn my lesson but worthy opponent had so much more than just the romance!! There was  backstory and real emotion in this one which I really felt it from the characters .
So far Hook and Tink are my fave 🧚🏴‍☠️

This might be my favorite Katee Robert book.

Loved the plot of this. It got a bit dense at a couple points but it was still mostly easy to follow. The ending was super satisfying.  I enjoyed the two main lovers a lot more than I have in other Katee Robert books.  The body positivity in this one was fantastic.

Loved this!

I’m not sure if I didn’t like this much as KRs other books because it was my first foray into the Wicked Villains series or if I just found this one sub-par in general. I feel like there was so little tension built between the characters romance and literally zero pining or space for complex feelings.

I did like Tink as a heroine but it was hard to get a sense of who she actually was as a person outside of her trauma and relationships with “territory leaders”. I also super do not understand the world building and politics of this society at all— is this modern America? Is this somewhere else? Does nobody find it strange that there’s a man named Beast?????

I did appreciate a much wider variety of sex scenes in this one— way more creative and interesting than Electric Heart and Radiant Sun for sure! I also love that everyone in this universe is bisexual, A++ for that Katee Robert!!

A fun and erotic twist on the characters from Peter Pan. Like all of Katee Robert books, it’s full of spice and fun sassy characters. Definitely an enjoyable read!

I do very much enjoy this whole concept of hot stories about Disney characters in an absurd enemies-to-lovers somewhat real-world mafia drama that mostly takes place inside a sex club. The plot is not great and maybe I noticed this time for the first time, how cringe it actually is. Maybe the third novel also just has the thinnest plot of them all. Maybe I was regularly too uncomfortable about the very serious overtones of past abuse and violence within a romantic relationship which constitutes one of the main themes in this novel and quite frankly made it difficult for me to not continue pondering about during the still very much well-written smutty scenes.

I liked Hook and I am very grateful for the realism with which Tink and her trauma are portrayed. She is complicated and fragile while simultaneously being very tough and walled-off and I appreciate this depiction so so much.

Also, the first part of that scene, in which she safewords and Hook just does everything the way it should be done almost made me tear up. This was such an important portrayal and I am so so grateful to find it in a easy-entertainment smutty romance novel.

There is no question I will continue this series soon. I adore it way too much. However, I am a little more weary and hope that the next books in the series will be less heavy from trauma-related topics and more silly mafia-drama again (even though I really do not enjoy this part, I am just here for the well-written kink, but honestly I do prefer those cringy cute power-politics amongst gang leaders scenes over the heaviness that weighed on A Worthy Opponent.

Really delightful read, and super spicy! Love a bratty sub and an easygoing, sensitive Dom dynamic. It's also a fun reinterpretation of the Peter/Hook story!

I especially loved that Tink is a plus sized woman, and this is all described beautifully. In fact, I do adore Katee Roberts for that as well, for the representation of different kinds of bodies. Doesn't happen enough!
Also has some well-executed tropes (enemies to lovers, forced marriage).

5/5 for spice again, I smiled a lot reading this, though will say that a serious CN applies for an abusive ex (physical and psychological abuse, physical violence and kidnapping...)

This was a great, steamy quick read that follows Tinkerbell and Captain Hook. I was surprised to see that Peter was the villain.
