Read this book for book club. It was a quick easy read.

It takes place in the days before Christmas at the Winter Street Inn on Nantucket, owned by Mitzi and Kelley. Lots of family members and they all have drama.

Spoiler alert.....

Mitzi is leaving Kelley for George who plays Santa at their Christmas party every year. Margaret is Kelley’s first wife who is a National News broadcast announcer. She finds out that Bart, Mitzi and Kelley’s son, who is overseas in the military, may have been captured. Margaret and Kelley have 3 children. Patrick, married to Jen and has 3 kids, just got caught for insider trading. Kevin has been sneaking around dating Isabelle, who works at the inn, she’s pregnant. Ava teaches music and is dating Nathaniel who she isn’t sure he loves her, and that her assistant principal Scott is in love with her. All of this leads to one heck of a Christmas. Ends on a cliffhanger so I do want to read the next book in the series.

A great holiday read and exactly what you expect from Elin Hilderbrand. I wouldn't be surprised to see this cast back in a follow up story.

It is a bit of a cheesy Christmas read but now I need to know what happens to the Quinn family, so I will be reading the rest of this series.
