Overall I liked this one. However, I dislike dual timelines that don't tell you that at the start of chapters. Makes it harder to follow. But once I knew where we were timeline-wise, I enjoyed it.

Just couldn’t get into the characters or the plot or the Hitchcock references.

Thrilling and suspenseful - The Hitchcock Hotel literally leaves you guessing until the last page! I love a reunion type thriller where everyone had secrets and in this novel, even the secrets have secrets. I also really enjoyed the Hitchcock element to it as well, there were probably a whole bunch of references that went over my head, but it was very fun nonetheless. 3.5 stars!

for a anticipated horror story this was a disappointment
though it is incredibly witty with Alfred Hitchcock references along with other references, it was very young adult with alot of build up and no pay off
the ending seemed to be a rewritten version of many horror endings of the villian innocently disguising their way out of situation entirely
told through multi pov, we follow a group of Hitchcock film group friends reuniting after 16 years at Alfred Smettles newest job as the Hitchcock Hotelier in New England
mysterious and dangerous things start to happen around the hotel and the group starts to worry who or what is responsible
after about 50 % way through the advertised dead body appears with a disappointing never ending mystery of who done it
