3.5 stars. An entertaining and quick read, especially fun for a Hitchcock fan like myself. But this story also could have been simplified. Some characters feel totally useless and barely add anything to the main intrigue, like TJ and Samira.

I’m so glad I finally read this book. I really liked how fast-paced it was. I had a hard time putting it down anytime I would pick it up which resulted in a couple late nights. Now, the characters you hate them, but that’s the point. They’re not the best people. They’re selfish and do what is best for them, and you can see that through the many decisions they make throughout the book in their past and present. In the end, I’m giving it 4.75 stars because I started to figure out a lot myself or guess what happens at a certain point which doesn’t make the book bad. I just like to be completely shocked instead of figuring stuff out (even if it does make me feel smart).
Eh this was a little too cheesy to be believable. The ending helped a little bit, but I just didn't believe the five friends would show up in the first place and not leave when ish started to go down.
