Is it strange that the first thing I thought of while reading this was the teen movie "John Tucker Must Die"? It hits those same tonalities and storylines without the girls working together wanting revenge on the same person. Where the movie though ends up telling an intriguing story that makes a point, the book doesn't have that same nail on the head.

This book is amazing. It reminds me of Paige Harbison's [b:Here Lies Bridget|8685622|Here Lies Bridget|Paige Harbison|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347310292s/8685622.jpg|13492122] and [b:New Girl|12085568|New Girl|Paige Harbison|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1313435678s/12085568.jpg|17053647].

The story is centered on three very different girls with very realistic teenage-drama issues. All three of them badly wanting to exact revenge on the people who did them wrong.

For someone who hates too much narration, I found this book enjoyable. The narration actually helped a lot in understanding each of their stories.

I believe the authors have done a great job in creating the characters, not to mention the story. It was very well crafted and I've picked up bits and pieces of moral lessons along the way. Personally, I felt a fleeting satisfaction over the ones the girls got back at. Fleeting because the girls didn't have all the facts. They were too overcome with raw emotions to have carried out vengeful acts. And to be honest, the girls were amateurs.. Well I guess that's why this is a YA novel.

It only took me a few hours to finish reading this, which means: it's THAT good. The ending caught me off guard. As in really off guard. It ended with a promise that it'll get me wanting more and there is nothing more I can do except will 2013 to come sooner.

Enjoyable, though i'm pretty sure I'll enjoy book two a little bit more since it's longer- that's my only real complaint. I wanted it to be longer. But I did enjoy it and am excited to read book two! I'm glad I borrowed the other two from the library at the same time so I can binge read.

I loved how it touched on not knowing all the details- even if you think you saw exactly what happened, it might be completely different from the truth. That's real life, and I appreciate YA showing how real life is in terms of situations/people/revenge.

I really loved the characters. They were all well done and I could relate to each one of them, even the "villains."

I'll try to do another review when I am not so tired!

4/5 Stars.

It definitely kept me interested, but I hate bitchy girls, so I really didn't understand any of them except Mary. I'll definitely take a gander at the sequel though!

Really intriguing...leaves on a cliff hanger so definitely ready for the next one.

I have to admit that the book was boring in the beginning. There was so much they could have done to make the plot better and more eventful. But the ending was still a really good cliffhanger and now i'm just hoping the other books are going to be better than the first one. (PS: the totally where, only gets better)

The last book should have been the only one written.

This started off promising and fun ... but then the plot got really strange and I got extremely annoyed by all the high school stereotypes and cliches.

I LOVE THIS BOOK MORE THAN ANYTHING.
