This is a very dramatic but fun read, along the lines of Pretty Little Liars. It features a bunch of teenagers from wealthy families who like to cause problems and tear each other apart. I like that this book is a revenge story without glorifying revenge.
This is more of a 3.5.
It's a fun, light read about revenge and the lengths people will go to get it.
It follows three girls in their senior year of high school who have been wronged in some way by someone so they get together and hatch up a plan to get revenge on them.
I didn't care at all about Mary until the end of the novel when she finally tells her story about what happened to her. I liked Kat and Lillian, but there were some times I wanted to smack Lillian for being so blind.
Overall, I enjoyed this book but I wouldn't say it was the best thing ever. It kind of ends on a cliffhanger, however I am not in a rush to read the second one.

I have to think about this one for a while. Review to follow.
This was nothing out of the ordinary, but the writing was totally addicting. I think I will continue as the ending left me wanting more.
More like 3.5 stars. This was a relatively fun book. I wanted to love the characters more than I did.
I thought it was weird that Mary’s trauma was centered while Lillia’s far more recent trauma was narratively forgotten about. Honestly, I kept thinking that Rennie wasn’t even that bad until I remembered what she had actually done to hurt Lillia, since it seemed the authors totally forgot that Lillia had had a really awful thing happen to her. Outside of using it as a plot device to rope her into the central storyline, of course.
In general, I think there were some heavier topics that weren’t even delved into at all. It was strongly implied that Mary suffers from an eating disorder and Lillia underwent a really awful trauma at the beginning of the book, and both things were relatively glossed over so I don’t understand why they specifically had to be included. Both of these things could have been *anything* and the plot and characters wouldn’t have been even a tiny bit affected.

One thing is for sure:
I'm going to get the sequel ASAP and finish this trilogy.
I had a reading slump at first, but I tried to pick this up again and I am impressed on how its story goes, quite cliche but still an enjoyable read. It was an easy read and indeed fast paced. I absolutely love it!
Karma is a bitch.
This book is all about friendship and revenge. Three girls with different pasts & personalities bonded to plot their own revenge to those people who hurt their feelings. It seems a bit childish but I did enjoyed their pranks. Good girls gone bad (except for Kat, because she's already a kick-ass one). Out of the three, I think Mary stood out the most. Her story was a huge impact and quite sad that you just want to hug her for real.
I'm also a fan of Kat, whom I considered the strongest and the bitchiest. Her personality is really striking and she is the motivator in the group. I loved her for that. I love Lillia, for being a protective sister and being the smartest but she needs to be more confident about herself that she isn't afraid to face her fears.
What a good start. I can't wait to see more. :)

What did I just read?
This book started out slow, but then it began to build up the pace until you are left thinking "What the hell?" (I do mean this in a good way)
These three girls are seeking for revenge. But does revenge ever lead to a happy ending? Not in this book, at least.
I don't know what else to say. I am still thinking of what just happened and I cannot wait to start with Fire With Fire.
