This book was the second LGBTQIA+ book that I have read and the first one of which is about being a w/w. I really enjoyed reading all about the different characters and how they shaped each other's lives.
The ending is so refreshing and I love stories, movies, and tv shows that don't always end in a happy ever after. I think it is fantastic not to give an unrealistic view of love and relationships. The way different issues were handled in this book was amazing. I really connect to both of the characters and how they started off as different but were brought together. Friendship really held this book together. It was such an easy read.

I think I'll just stick to fantasy, thank you very much.

Happy Pride Month! In honor of Pride Month, I plan to only read books that have LGBTQ+ representation this month. I always try to read more books with queer representation so this month I will be trying to find new favourites and underrated reads.

This was a super sweet rom-com about trying not to fall in love and maybe doing it anyway. Saoirse is fresh off a break up with her childhood best friend-turned-girlfriend, and when she meets Ruby they develop a plan for a no strings attached, no feelings summer. I’m sure you can imagine how that one goes.

I loved this because it was cute and gave me lots of warm feelings and it was very charming. It’s nice to read a story about two girls developing feelings for each other with no real drama surrounding it - there’s a lot of conflict, but it’s not about the fact that either of them are gay. There’s also some beautiful lines about finding beauty in all different body types that really resonated with me.

I love it, the book made me cry, I love all the characters and the best ending is just beautiful. And I love Saoirse, she is awesome.
