This book started off in such a way that I somehow managed to slap myself in the face with my ponytail when I whipped my head to glare at my jeep console (because that would totally help me glare at those that had the mother effing AUDACITY). After that I was clearly hooked and completely invested in seeing this FMC get her HEA. With two adorable kids, foster kitties and an amazing found family, this book had everything I love. I loved not only the obvious sparks between the two main characters, but the bond that the FMC forged with the two children. Overall, this was a great romance and a really good listen.

đź’‹ hockey romance
đź’‹ single dad/nanny
đź’‹ hockey player/figure skater
Sabrina Snow was meant to be getting married, but instead is now getting drunk next to Tyler Falcon, the star hockey player. That led to the night that is only referred to as the night of 1001 confessions. Anything else is too embarrassing. Later as she is making her own way, fighting to make her life her own without any assistance, she lands the job as Tyler’s nanny. As she spends more time with Tyler and the kids, it is very apparent that Tyler remembers every word that she blurted out that night. As the attraction grows between them, he offers to help fix some of those confessions. Suddenly there is a list of items in a little notebook that they are checking off when the kids aren’t home and sneaking around. But things can’t last like this and sneaking around tends to lead to getting caught.

The Overtime Kiss is narrated by the always awesome Teddy Hamilton & Brooke Bloomingdale. They brought so much life to Sabrina & Tyler.
Can we start at the end?! And say cutest & best kiss ever!
This entire audio is just that. Cute, sweet & sexy. The kiddos are such an important part of the story it’s no wonder Sabrina falls in love with the Falcon fam.
These two skating phenoms find their BIG love in each other & that’s all they need…maybe a new headboard too

I’m totally new to this series and this author. I’ve been meaning to try it for so long because: hockey romance, and when I saw Teddy Hamilton’s name as the narrator, I knew this was the book to try!
Let me start by saying that duet narration is so damn good. It really gives the story such a realistic side, and it’s so easy and satisfying to listen to.
I do love hockey romances so much and this one was a true one with more than just mentioning that a character is a player which I so appreciate! The team was present and even though I didn’t know anyone I was able to appreciate their relationships, and I was definitely curious about them all.
Tyler Falcon was the definition of swoony. Truly such a great dad and caring about people in such a beautiful way. He was dreamy. There were many cute moments with the family all together, and I liked it a lot. And then there was also the whole fostering kitten thing that was absolutely delightful. The forced proximity and found family tropes were so well executed.
Where it lost points for me was the lack of character's depth. I feel like there was so much potential with our FMC's background story, but it all stayed pretty surface level, which was a bit disappointing. I also had a bit of a problem with the length of this book. It felt unnecessary long to me and I found myself almost wanting to skip some parts... yes, it was a comforting read that was cute and all, but the relationship between the characters wasn't moving forward and was either stagnant or going backwards with miscommunication for such a while, and I'm not a fan of that.
While this was a cute story and I enjoyed most of my time listening to it, I feel like this will be a forgettable one for me, if it makes sense. I'm still curious about the rest of this series, so I might try another one, one of these days.
Thanks to HambrightPR for the ALC. All opinions are my own.

Lauren Blakely truly writes like she is running out of time and you can bet that if she is writing it, I will be reading it! The Overtime Kiss is such a cute single dad/nanny romance that really pays attention to the love between our main character, but also the love between Sabrina and Tyler's kids. I also love a runaway bride with an outrageous family moment!
Quotes:
“Luna straightens her spine and cuts in. “And we know you two like each other, so this is why we think it’s time for you to get married.”

-Luna (Ch. 43)
“I’d planned to wait till later, but sometimes you have to shoot your shot when it comes your way.
“I love you, Sabrina Snow,” I say, then I hit the ice.”
-Tyler (Ch. 48)
“I fly across the arena, right into his waiting arms, and I jump up into them.
“I love you too, Tyler Falcon.”
-Sabrina (Ch. 49)

I love when the MMC stands up for the FMC, but Sabrina’s family situation was so deeply unbelievable to me…distracted me from the other parts that I liked well enough.
