A little more moralistic than I remembered from reading this book as a child. Still loved the characters, though.

A nice way to wrap up the story of the March family. From my personal perspective, the characters' destinies all fit with their personalities, which brings a nice sense of contentment. As with the previous book, I found Dan's storyline the most touching once again. What slightly disappointed me is that the ending felt rushed and lacked details. In a way, I wouldn't even have minded if it was expanded at the expense of shortening some descriptions of the characters' day-to-day life, which were certainly amusing and heartwarming but not as essential for their development.
Again, not as good as the earlier books, but gives completion to all the characters you've come to know.
The boys are all grown up! I loved reading about their adventures and how they overcame hardship. The book is an example of how men should be feminists as the residents of Plumfield address the suffrage movement. We also get a glimpse of what life may have been like for the author as she writes about fan mail and unwanted attention Jo received from time to time. A delightful read!
