Solid advice. Less cynical than I'd expected.

Some really good points in this book but the guy also can get super self righteous at times

This book dives deep into harsh truths we often avoid, only to face them when regret hits, and the realities we refuse to accept. Some parts go against what I’ve learned so far but at the end of the day, it’s just a different perspective. A lot of the concepts really hit hard and made me reflect on life. The author doesn’t sugarcoat anything. Just lays it all out, raw, and unapologetic

I see why this book is so successful. There were moments when I just wanted to throw it out the window, and others where I thought, well shit, this makes sense.”

I have mixed feelings about this book. I was first recommended it when I was going through a tough time and it really helped turn things around for me.
Out of curiosity I read it again later, with my life more sorted out and... There's some good stuff in there but it takes so long to get to the point and it's all opinion, anecdotes and analogies. It's been a while since I re-read it (I just signed up for good reads so I'm reviewing old reads) but I recall he also makes some weird comments about women so after that chapter I closed it and just counted my blessing that I got what I needed from it at the time.
Won't re-read.
