Felt like it kinda had middle book syndrome. The plot started to pick up towards the end.

Book 2 of the Atlas series follows the Society initiates through their second year of study. Their shifting relationships, areas of study and alliances take us through turmoil and surprises. Will Libby Rhodes be rescued and brought back to the present? What are Atlas’s, Dalton’s and Ezra’s big plans? Where do Tristan, Callum, Parisa, Reina and Nico go from here?

I did not enjoy this second book in the series as much as I enjoyed the first book, finding it less compelling though it should have been more so as more of the complex storyline was revealed. At times I found information to be lacking ( e.g. why only some of the characters’ initiation rites were shared in detail) and at other times found information to be confusing. I give this book a rating of 3.

This book is kinda muddled together in my brain with the first since I read them so close together. To be honest, most of what I remember is vibes. I like them, they’re good vibes.

DNF at 27%. Nothing was happening, I was incredibly bored and struggling to find any interest in reading further
