This is right up my alley and I’m excited to watch show but didn’t love the writing/world-building/character development that much like why is this guy Lukas obsessed with Juliette and telling his mom about her when he met her 1 time and they talked for 30 seconds.

I reread this after 5 years, and this 2nd time I did not enjoy it as much as I had the first time. Really cool concept, but just super thin plot that kinda feels like it's going nowhere, especially in the middle of the book. Characters didn't feel very fleshed out or developed, and by the end I didn't really care about what would happen to any of them.
