I like this in colour. I think it loses some.of the DIY charm of the original black and whites, and it feels more modern and thus less nineties but I think it works. Especially probably for readers new to comics.

After watching the movie with my kids last night (and loving it) I decided to give this a go. Pretty much exactly like the movie, except that Scott Pilgrim is somewhat less of a dork than as played by Michael Cera.

Liked film and finally got round to reading book.

First volume is pretty much one for one with film adaptation. Enjoyed it a lot, Scott sucks (but I already knew that) and assuming story will go in directions I don't know.

But art is fun and the jokes land, also it really takes a turn for the bizarre in last few pages. Hoping it gets super crazy.

Gotta get volume 2!
