Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! This is my favorite story so far!!!!!! It was funny, heartwarming, and creepy. I loved the take on Jack the Ripper. I loved the interactions with Jace and Simon. I especially loved seeing TID characters. This was a wonderful story and the ending was so sweet. I loved the letter Simon wrote to Isabelle. It was very Simon from before his memory wipe. This story was just everything.
This tale for me made me excited for the reason that there are the appearances of Jace and Will, Tessa and Jem. Imagining these characters in one setting gives me goosebumps. It is just so nice to meet again these characters from both series “The Mortal Instruments” and the “Infernal Devices”.
Aww, I really liked seeing Tessa and Jem again in the modern world. It was really good to hear about the old Infernal Devices gang again. I especially liked reading about Jace and Tessa finally interacting and seeing how the Mortal Instruments gang is acting happily after all the events of Heavenly Fire.
Rereading between my TID and TLH read- I like this one to get more Tessa/Will/Jem, but I feel like it has too much storyline devoted to Simon in the present. All the flashback scenes to London are great. Some of my favorite parts included “Spoon!”, Jessamine being useful, and Tessa describing sitting with Will and Jem for awhile (I love those three so much

An appearance from Jace. A cute letter from Simon to Isabelle. Some jumping out of trees. And lots of lovely flashbacks of Tessa and Will. What's not to like?
🚨Spoiler Alert🚨 Any story that has Tessa, Will, & Jem, also mixed with Jace Herondale & Simon Lewis has to be good. This was a nice take on the story of Jack the Ripper. To think that a 5 year old ghost girl was going around looking for a mommy & just wanted to play & end up killing them in pieces instead. .........& Spoon!!
