Ugh all the feels in under 100 pages, favourite characters reunited and that ending, I will go down with this ship!

Will and Jem and Tessa. Gabriel and Cecily. Jamie and Lucie and Anna. Simon and George and Jace.

THE FEELS! By the Angel, the bleeding feels. I can't even. Definitely the best so far; it was so, so good. See, when you put Herondales in a story *ahemwill&jaceahem*, your heart's bound to swell with emotions. I just. From start to finish, I was either laughing or swooning. A must-read.

This ebook was better, in my opinion, than the previous volumes in the Tales from Shadowhunter Academy miniseries. Here, instead of "wallowing" in Simon's angst at not remembering his life and angst at being indecisive about Izzy, we are transported back to the time period just after the Infernal Devices trilogy, and return to Tessa, Will, Jem, Gabriel, and Cecily and the murders committed by Jack the Ripper. Keeping historically accurate while putting a wild, amazing twist on it, it was refreshing to see how the rest of the stories affect Simon even after the double trilogy of The Mortal Instruments. We also see Jace and (insert Silent Brother's real name here for those of you who've read City of Heavenly Fire); maybe I liked this book more because it felt so much like a mini-reunion, but hey, if expanding the canon to include lovely little snippets like this is what she's aiming for, then I'll read to the end of time. We also got a real step forward in Simon's amnesiac character development (but I won't say how for those yet to read it), that actually leaves me wanting to read the next volume instead of just passively waiting for it to arrive.

5 stars? they're not enough!

why do I have to always end up crying like a baby??
it was PERFECT.

the London Institute being a big beautiful family, Jace finally talking to Tessa... the feeling I get everytime I read about these characters is always so overwhelming... I can't even explain how it makes me feel.
