update - February 2018: I'm finally going through and removing my star ratings from Clare's works. I enjoyed (most of) them at the time, but looking back, I didn't even really like them that much? I've been meaning to do this for years.

JACE! - I love how he's the expert in gracefully dropping from trees.

Also, I love getting to see our beloved TID characters and Cassandra Clare successfully made me love Tessa (finally).

Oh my, Tessa and Will.

The feels, man, the feels.
And Jessamine, Cecily, Gabriel - I can't even... MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT!
I didn't realize how much I missed these characters until now.
And litte Jamie is just absolutely adorable! *swoon* (Hah, or shall I say spoon?)

I haven't read the Infernal Devices/Mortal Instruments series in a few years, so I was surprised that I remembered characters and plot points! A good novella for a stormy afternoon, a clever retelling of the Jack the Ripper legend. I think I will have to delve back into the full series - a reading marathon is coming up!
