I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would since the MCs are teens. I am planning to read the second book. Although, the near incest bit is quite a bit disturbing. I'm having trouble moving past it. I was hoping that it would all be a big mistake that would get cleared up in thensecond book, but judging by the synopsis, this is not the case.

Just a warning there is some language that’s out dated and offensive. Honestly it’s an easy read but there are just some major flaws and that’s the reason I rated it so low.

Meh. I mean, it was okay - if you like Percy Jackson then you’d probably like this - the anime and manga references were also very much appreciated. Overall it just so so, and I never felt that joy or pull making me want to go back and read more.

Ok so I enjoyed my time with this book. The story was good enough to keep me reading (or I guess listening) and the characters had interesting relations with each other. My real issue and reason I won’t be continuing is the um…incest plot…not cute Cassandra. But you know it was a fun little book until the last few pages
