This was such a cosy mystery! I loved the setting and the connection to the ‘original’ Holmes and Watson!

This was a lot of fun and I'm enjoying the "new" Watson and Holmes characters. I can't wait to pick up book 2.

A fast paced action story. It was a fun read but definitely directed towards a younger reading crowd.

Stormbreaker was a fast-paced adventure that reminded me of an adolescent version of the show 24. Since I enjoyed that show and Jack Bauer's character, I also liked this Alex Rider adventure. At first, I was a little hung up on the fact that Alex lived in London his whole life, but didn't use British terms (i.e., calling a truck a lorry, etc.). But I realized the audience is likely U.S. kids, so they wouldn't understand that jargon. I also realized I was over analyzing this book and didn't need to be doing that. Next up, the sequel!

DID NOT FINISH

Too over the top for my tastes

This book was great! Not the first time I've read it, but when I was younger I didn't enjoy it as much. It was a brilliant story, thrilling but with no excessive amounts of violence and no bad language. I really loved it!

Fun, entertaining, and just a tiny but awful- but all the same a very good read.
Teenage me would have loved this
