Alex Rider is a courageous young boy, who embarks on a journey to find out how his uncle really got killed and to stop the stormbreaker, a deadly virus, from being unleashed on Britain.
I really enjoyed this book, especially as the story made me constantly want to read more due to the suspense. I look forward to watching the movie, but like people always say, books are usually better than the movie.

nice for kids, hope that was the intended audience <3
It's a pity it is such a short book. I really liked it. It had a lot of action and it was a cool and surprising storyline. The book may have been meant for people younger that me, but I still enjoyed it. Anthony Horrowitz is once again an amazing writer!
Something that may have lacked were the absence of any side characters. Alsz didn't seem to have any friends and he had to do everything alone, which also kind of figures because you can't be a spy with friends.
I liked how Alex was rational and at first said no when they asked him to do it I mean it is kind of impossible, an intelligence agency asking such things from a 14 year old.
I especially liked the ending, I thought everything had be done and cared for but then he was pulled in that taxi and saved by Yassen. I have a feeling those two will one day meet again. I am really looking forward to reading the next book! I hope that ons will be nist as actionpacked.

A great James Bond-style action thriller...starring a young teenager as the James Bond! Oh, I was in heaven back in the days of old when I read this...it was gripping and I was a teen so I could relate, and really get engrossed in the world of Alex Rider espionage.
What could be better. This book was my nirvana of early teenage years.
Highly recommend for any self-respecting teen to get down and start reading the Alex Rider series! I've read 'em ever since the age of 14, and I'm 17 and recently finished the latest one! Horowitz still has it I must say.

Nostalgia audiobook listen. This was a book I listened to a lot falling asleep as a kid, I loved the secret spy action stuff.
My original rating was 4 star but upon rereading 14 years later I actually liked it more.
