probably more of a 3 star but i have a huge nostalgia factor involved w this series.
i am once again asking for mi6 to stop blackmailing a vulnerable child into doing their dirty work causing him physical injuries, ptsd and a literal assassin to step in to help him quicker than they do

Another audiobook I selected since it was available on the library's Overdrive system when I needed something. Also, I have read a few of Horowitz' adult mysteries as well as enjoyed his TV series, Foyle's War. He sure had fun writing this series. Reminded me a bit of the Artemis Fowl series as well. Will explore more as they come my way.

I probably read at least this one sometime in the early 2000s. And I have to admit, although some aspects of the story have aged quite a bit, I still liked it. Alex is an interesting character and I will try and read the whole series in 2021.
