La copertina annunciava "protagonisti indimenticabili e colpi di scena a ripetizione". Al posto dei personaggi indimenticabili ho trovato una ragazzina ossessionata dall'aspetto fisico e dal sesso. Ogni due pagine si possono trovare commenti su quanto siano "fighi" o "fighissimi" i ragazzi che la circondano, e altri commenti su quanto vorrebbe "andare fino in fondo".
E per quanto riguarda i colpi di scena, sono prevedibili fin dai primi 2-3 capitoli.
E un peccato perché secondo me la trama iniziale aveva tutte le caratteristiche per diventare una saga fantastica.

3,5🌟 Bonito inicio de saga, algo predecible en algunas cosas pero aún así ha estado bastante bien.
Aiden es precioso y Seth un muchacho muy extraño. Por su parte Alex es algo temeraria pero me gusta que tenga iniciativa y que no espere continuamente a que los demás le diga o aprueben lo que tiene que hacer pese a la sociedad en la que vive.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! It took me right back to my YA days! I had to take off a star tho -this was a bit too similar to Vampire Academy. (I have only watched the movie (I know it is bad) so I don't know if the book is even more similar) Ironically this actually made me want to read Vampire Academy. This book had everything that a good cliche YA needs and if you are in the mood for an easy, fun, and consuming young adult book, I highly recommend this!!!

So, can we just take a moment to gush over Seth? I know I know we are supposed to love Aiden and he is great, but SETH?????
Why do I always have to ship the main character with the second lead?! It really is a curse!
I am very excited to see how this (I assume it is going to be) love triangle will play out - although I am 90% she'll end up with Aiden - since the guy that the main character meets first is usually the guy that the character ends up with.
I do however hope that we get some Seth moments!! Also, Seth is the Egyptian chaos god - but since this is greek mythology I doubt that it matters.... Okay I'll stop rambling now - but I am team Seth and I am very excited and afraid to find out why she chooses Aiden - I'm not ready for Seth's character to be destroyed/make some bad decisions in the next books but atlas that is necessary for the plot. Also, I am so excited for her to turn 18!!!! I cannot wait to read the next installment in this series!!!
