I normally love books by this author, but this was just a like for me. I think it has a lot of promise as the series progresses. I like the magic element, the found family element, the second chance at love element and I enjoyed the ghosts. I will listen to the next one.

Okay so the good thing i can say about this book is at least it was a fast read. But the story makes NO sense. They provide zero background for the witches abilities to see and deal with ghosts. It's poorly written, and jumps around. And I'm annoyed I got the 2nd book already and will have to read it too .

Cute - not what I was expecting. More geared toward friendship than romance. Romance felt kinda of forced, but more realistic. 1 "spicy" scene - short & not graphic. A bit predictable.

Cute Rom Com about a girl who’s left an estate from her Aunt she’s never met on an island in Michigan. Weird things start happening and she entrusts her two new friends she’s made to help her get everything sorted. Along the way she falls for a guy in town who gets dragged into the ghostly situations the girls are dealing with.

This was such a fun read and I look forward to seeing where the series goes! It felt like a blend of the TV shows “Ghosts” and “Charmed” in the best possible way. There are so many fun characters and the ending felt like it gave some resolution while leaving the door open to future stories.
