Good balance of mystery, friendship and some witty banter. Not a lot of depth and this took "instant love" to another level of "Instant relationship"

Molly Harper always manages to write fun fluff that has a touch of magic and romance. The books are short, quick reads, but she somehow develops the characters and the magic system enough for them to feel real and be likeable. This book is not an exception.

Nope. Some of the dialogue is good but that's about all it has going for it. The relationship and the friendships all showed no progression or growth, it was all 0 to 100. Most of the characters were bland and there was no plot to speak of - and the one thing you might have been able to call a mystery I kind of hated the reveal of who was behind it. Most of it was so cozy and sweet that the one sex scene seemed almost uncomfortably spicy in contrast with the rest of the novel.

A little choppy in places, but overall a good story. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
