At first I was dazzled. I loved that it took place in Michigan!!! Hey I’m from there!! Petoskey stone!! UofM!! Islands!! Mackinac!! But that was the best part. 
The plot has a few holes and the time randomly accelerates with no explanation. The romance is weird and forced as are the friendships. There’s no explanation for

how and why the coven forms.

 
I feel like this is what people talk about when they complain that books today are kind of “fast fashion”.
