Loved this cute fauxmance, despite the bigoted homofobic Mrs. Miller's efforts.

i like how this book gets straight to the point, it’s a funny and short romance, the writing isn’t amazing or anything but it’s not supposed to be. i relate to reagan a lot and i was living for her gay panicking at the beginning, also i’m pretty sure i’ve heard the conservative side of my family say things almost word for word like what the millers say. an issue i had is that charlie and jamie call each other “sis” and “bro” which is so unrealistic lmfao. ALSO HOW THE FUCK ARE ALL OF THEM SO CLEARLY GAY AND JUST PRETENDING TO BE STRAIGHT?? and when i say this book goes fast i mean it. also there is a shit ton of miscommunication and literally all of their problems could be solved if they just talked to each other. it also definitely is a coming out story and somethings that i think it was reagan said, could be seen as problematic yk. and a lot of the writing is cringy ig but in a good way. ALSO HALF OF CHARLIE AND REAGANS RELATIONSHIP IS JUST THEM THIRSTING OVER EACH OTHER LNFAOAOAO-. in conclusion this book was alright and the great grandmother was my favorite character because shes the only one who didn’t do problematic shit

Pretty good for a rom-com. A little too much smut for my taste but I did like how the story did not have an unrealistic ending regarding Charlie and Jamie's parents resistance to accept their sexualities. Ultimately it was cute and I really enjoyed it, I gave it a three because I did enjoy it, but I would not read it again which in my book would be a 4 and 5 for me means a favorite. I needed a break from high fantasy but also wanted a story I could get sucked into. Erica Lee's Anyone But Her kept me giggling, entertained, and rooting for a happy ending of it's characters. I will definitely look into more of Erica's books!
