Once I let go of the fact that supposedly these dragons are over 10,000 years old yet speak fairly modern English, were found in North America, and lived in kingdoms (though at one point it’s stated they were from the Middle Ages), I enjoyed the story. Sam is such a bundle of nerves and yet endearing. Blaze is playful and protective. They really complimented each other

This was such a cute omegaverse. I definitely had a good time reading this. Blaze was such a good alpha and very patience. I honestly liked this couple more than the first book.

I liked this book. Sam is cute and adorable. His mate Blaze was fun too. I liked getting Sam’s back story, finding his long lost foster brother Peter and progressing the plot further. This book was pretty equal in plot details and character development, so liked it a lot. Tons of fun!

Good Book

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really liked this book. I loved Sam and Blaze together, they’re completely opposites but Sana said it best that they even each other out as Sam is a complete and utter nervous wreck all the time while Blaze has an unlimited amount of patience so he can easily help Sam out of his panic attacks without getting annoyed at him, or he can help settle Sam with a touch or by wrapping his arm around him before he starts to panic. I found it funny how Blaze kept on using common slang and swearing as he gleamed the information by touching his heart song Sam and using his special dragon power. Blaze was really sweet with Sam. Man, Sam was either totally oblivious or maybe he was more in denial about being of draconian decent. I loved that Sam got reunited with his brother of his heart Peter, that he’d totally forgotten about due to the traumatic introduction of his dragon when he was in his teens. Wow, Peter and Sana’a story is going to be interesting. I’d recommend this book, series and both authors to everyone.

I actually quite liked the first half of this, much better than book one anyways, but the second half was meh again.

I really liked the narrative in this book. Blaze was hilarious, and Sam's reactions to him were adorable. Seeing the other dragons awaken and adjust to the present day was interesting. This book establishes the enemy that the dragons and their allies must fight for their HEA. Learning how Sam became the neurotic person we meet in book one made his character more dimensional.

You don't need a dragon shifter alpha, Sam, you need THERAPY.
